By Erasmus+ mobility project 2023-1-LT01-KA121-VET-000127181 S.A.F.E. Projects hosted a group of
teachers from Elektrėnai Vocational Training Centre, Šilutė Vocational Training Centre and Trakai d.
Aukštadvaris Gymnasium, Lithuania. Mobility was dedicated to one-week job-shadowing activities in
November, 2023. Participants have visited few local vocational training organisations, where they
observed lectures and got knowledge, skills and competencies about inclusive education, its main

In November 2023, SAFE Projects hosted 2 vocational training teachers from Vilnius School of Public
Utilities for one week of job-shadowing mobility. These activities were implemented by the
Erasmus+ mobility project 2023-1-LT01-KA121-VET-000121618. The main focus during the mobility
period was on inclusive education – during the mobility period participant acquired knowledge, skills
and competencies to work with students with special needs and to improve the quality of inclusive
education. Sustainability and sustainable development was another topic, covered during the
mobility, especially in Koning Willem I College, which is highly advanced in this field. It was organized visit to Leiden Education Center.

S.A.F.E.Projects organize learning, training, teaching activities (LTTA) in the Netherlands.
Below you can find implemented activities. During learning activities we combine a lot of interactive experiences, visits, and job shadowing. S.A.F.E.Projects always presents education system in the Netherlands, all implemented and ongoing strategical partnership projects, discussing and evaluating project results and encouraging to use it.
12th June – 16th June 2023 six countries (Poland, Estonia, France, Italy, Austria, and The Netherlands) participated in learning, training, and teaching activity (GREEN MIND IN ADULT EDUCATION) in Lochem, The Netherlands.

29 th November – 3rd December 2022 Telšių education center (Lithuania) staff participated in the job shadowing visit.
Job shadowing implemented during ,,Erasmus+” Program KA1 mobility project title “Improving the general and professional competencies of employees is a way towards an effective and inclusive non-formal adult education” No. 2022-1-LT01-KA122-ADU-000079269
Presentations about STEAM, virtual reality, education system and visits to different type of educational institutions in the Netherlands gave inspiration and insights for future cooperation in the field of education.

17th – 21st of October 2022 Marijampolės VET school (Lithuania) staff participated in job shadowing visit.
During the job shadowing visit was gained knowledge about apprenticeship training in VET schools and enterprises; visited VET school Koning Willem I College. During job shadowing visits, lectures were improved professional and managerial knowledge of apprenticeship training practice and methodology. Also visited Stiching Present Den Haag organization accredited for apprenticeship.

From 10th – 14th of October 2022 three countries (Lithuania, Bulgaria, The Netherlands) VET schools and social enterprises participated in learning, training, teaching activity in the Hague, The Netherlands.
We are grateful Alfa college (Klaas Berends and Alco Otten) for possibility to learn about how sustainability development strategy in VET are successfully implemented. Alfa college showed briliant examples of cooperation between VET, universities, enterprises. We have visited Groningen university, Suikerunieterrein, Entrance, N.I.C.E.(Noordelijk Innovatielab circulaire economie) Alfa College location Hoogeveen and learned a lot about sustainable planetproof building, hydrogen valley and working on the SDG’s.
Training activities continued at Koning Willem I College. We are grateful for Rob de Vrind who shared his experience about Duurzaam MBO (Sustainable VET), Future school vision, Green office and how at school are implemented SDG. Visiting Vakbeurs Energie.

From 24th of August 2022 five countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and The Netherlands) participated in learning, training, teaching activity in the Hague, The Netherlands.
The aim of the short-term learning/teaching/training activity was to train the participants, i.e. adult educators to become trainers/guides/ facilitators to promote and implement the Senior Award Program in their countries. The short term learning/teaching/training activity was carried out according to the agenda, prepared by the host partner – S.A.F.E. projects.
It involved work with the project deliverables, also, visits to volunteer host organizations in the Netherlands to share the experience and learn best practices for promoting senior volunteerism and lifelong learning of older adults. The program consist of analyse of statistic data, projects results, volunteering traditions in the Netherlands The participants of the short-term learning/teaching/training event were all adult educators practitioners. They work as adult guides and coaches in U3A, libraries, local community centers, cultural centers, adult education centers, also, NGOs.
During the short term learning/teaching/training event have visited three big organizations working with volunteers. PEP den Haag – they are advisory institution for others organizations working with volunteers. They have volunteers academy.
Also one of the most active volunteering organization Welzijn Scheveningen Wijk- en dienstencentrum Het Couvéehuis presented their volunteering activities. Non-formal discussion continued in their garden. The historical volunteering traditions development was discussed in Stichting Present Den Haag.
During the short term learning/teaching/training event they developed their knowledge on how to work with older adults and develop their volunteering mindset.
The working language of the short-term learning event was English. However, S.A.F.E.Projects supported all participants with translation if they were needed. The participants improved their language skills both formal – reading the project deliverables, and informal – participating in the workshops and round table discussions, also informal chats among the attendees of the event. Participants got a practical assignment. All attendees got mobility passes and certificates.
Cultural activities were organized too – participants visited Mauritshuis and enjoyed Rembrandt van Rijn, Johannes Vermee, and other classical paintings. Historical aspects of art impressed everybody.
In the evening they had opportunities to walk through Scheveningen Promenade and try real dutch haring, kabeljouw.
